Mendham Township is an affluent township in Morris County, in the central portion of northern New Jersey. This township is home to more than 5,500 residents that make up 18 square feet of southern Morris County. By the early 1800's portions of Mendham Township were taken to form Randolph, currently this township's northern neighbor.

Students grades K-8 attend schools in the Mendham School District including Mendham Township Elementary School, which educates just over 500 students in grades K-4, and Mendham Township Middle School, serving over 400 students in grades 5-8. Students in grades 9-12 attend West Morris Mendham High School, which is located in Mendham Borough. The all-boys Delbarton School in neighboring Morris Township also draws a number of Mendham boys in grades 7-12.

For those heading to points outside the township, Interstates 287, 78 and 80 are all accessible. Commuters can drive to nearby Morristown to access the NJ Transit Midtown Direct express train line into New York City.
